Well Strung @ Frosty Hollow Freeze
June 15th
It was a hot Saturday as the Freeze welcomed team Well Strung to town.
The Freeze got off to fine start as they took a 4-0 lead with Mark Shaffer there to get the points. It was then, Mike Herman, who tilted his opponent in two sets to score 5 more points to make the score 9-0. Ian Blackman and Bob Hawley smacked their opponents in two sets to score another 5 points. Eric Ulzinow and Ashish Patel struck for 4 points in a three setter. With the score 18-0, the Freeze were thinking brooms. Dmitry Belov and Lance Shaffer added the 3 points to the score in a two setter to complete the sweep.
THEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZE WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
21-0!
With only three games to go in the season, the Freeze are looking at a possible playoff ticket. The Frosty Hollow Freeze franchise have only been to the playoffs a single time and that was in 2015. It was a season ago, where it came to the final day of the season where they were knocked out. Is that same thing on the slate for this year?
The final three games all have playoff implications that are all matchups with Division Rivals. It is all set to come to the final game and swing of the regular season to know which team is going to have the fun and compete in the playoffs. Who is going to hoist the trophy?
Cheer this team on! Tickets are totally free at the courts! Wear FREEZE Blue!
