BCRC Slammers @ Frosty Hollow FREEZE

 

            Weather.com, CBS, ABC, NBC, and Fox News all predicted inclement weather to dampen the courts on Saturday.  It possibly did a slight drizzle with a little mist but the weather was wonderful for a tennis matinee.  Tons of water and towels were needed because of the hot temperatures.  It was like a day at the beach in the crowd at the Frosty Hollow FREEZE Hard Courts.

 

            The Freeze welcomed the BCRC Slammers on Saturday as the Freeze were in their white shirts.  The Freeze were having a home game day white out and all players and fans were in on it.

 

            During the week, the Frosty Hollow Freeze signed Keith Wright to the team.  Wright is a great team guy and Freeze are happy to have him on board and he made his debut on Saturday.

SINGLES POSITIONS:

Mike Bell and Shawn Gallagher

 

DOUBLES POSITIONS:

Dmitry Belov and Eric Ulzinow, Ian Blackman and Lance Shaffer, and Seramil Acierto and Keith Wright.

 

            The Freeze got off to a slow start in this game and struggled to really get much going all day.  All players worked hard but got slammed by the Slammers 18-4.  Ian Blackman and Lance Shaffer sprung for the Freeze's only points on the day by winning their court.  Every point matters so the Freeze are going to continue to work and fine tune their games.
