Frosty Hollow Freeze @ Causing a Racket

On the final regular season game of the USTA 2019 season, the Frosty Hollow Freeze headed to Pennsbury to take on the team Causing a Racket.

​

With the standings tense, the Freeze had a clinch scenario in their pocket. If the Freeze scored 21 points on this day, they would control their own destiny and clinch a playoff spot.

 

The Freeze took a 3-0 lead fresh from the start and from there the intensity ramped up.  The pressure was on with the playoff tickets looming.

​

Ulzinow and Patel quieted the home crowd by scoring 5 points in a two setter. Belov and L.Shaffer teamed up to score 4 points in a two setter.  Hawley then took 4 more points on his singles court in a two setter to put the Freeze within a court win of their goal.  Blackman knocked out his opponent in two sets and scored 5 points. It is a sweep!!!

The Frosty Hollow Freeze are going to the USTA Playoffs!!!

The Freeze do have one court remaining which is Vs TopSpin Blue on July 7th at 9:00 a.m. This is going to be a doubles court which could help add 3 points to the Freeze overall score and points.

Then the next step is the playoffs!!!
