Causing A Racket @ Frosty Hollow Freeze

 

 

On a nice tennis weather day, the Freeze welcomed the Rackets to their hard courts. The parking lot was full and a good crowd was on hand to watch theses two squads faceoff. The pregame party was starting as the starters were stretching and warming up on the playing courts.

 

The lineup was written in pen and sent in to the away foes.

 

Position 1 Singles: Ian Blackman

Position 2 Singles: Mark Shaffer

 

Position 1 Doubles Pair:

Bob Hawley / John Sisti

 

Position 2 Doubles Pair:

Dmitry Belov / Lance Shaffer

 

Position 3 Doubles Pair:

Carlos Araujo / Tarik Bassal

 

The Freeze talked about jumping on this team and getting off to good start to keep the home crowd loud.

 

Carlos Araujo and Tarik Bassal started it off nicely. Bassal, making his Freeze debut, teamed up with Araujo to score 3 points. Ian Blackman then chimed in with another 5 points to keep the ball rolling. Dmitry Belov and Lance Shaffer gave the home crowd a good taste of action by scoring another 4 points. Mark Shaffer rolled his ankle during the match and then banged in 4 more points for the team. A full sweep was in store for the day. Bob Hawley and John Sisti came in as the closers and struck on their court to score 5 points.
