TopSpin Blue @ Frosty Hollow FREEZE

 

              The Frosty Hollow Freeze welcomed TopSpin Blue for their 2018 Home Opener. Coming off a tie in Week 1 versus the Slammers, the Freeze wanted to grab a win in front of the home crowd on a beautiful afternoon.
TopSpin Blue was in their powder blues while the Freeze were in their eagle greens for this thrilling matchup.

              The parking lot was packed with fans and the cheers were hitting top volume for the starting lineups.
For Singles, the Freeze had Ian Blackman and Bob Hawley. For Doubles, the Freeze had Dmitry Belov and Eric Ulzinow, Lance Shaffer and John Sisti, and Carlos Araujo and Seramil Acierto.

              Lance Shaffer and John Sisti put the Freeze on the score sheet with smashing in 4 points which got the home crowd energized. Bob Hawley then struck for another 4 points which put the crowd into a frenzy. Ian Blackman pulled in some insurance with 5 more points in good fashion. Dmitry Belov and Eric Ulzinow hit their opponents with traffic stopping serves which added another 6 points to scorecards. Carlos Araujo and Seramil Acierto teamed up nicely together for a long three setter which had everyone on the edge of their seats.  The Freeze have also signed Free Agent David Barth, which is a good addition to the team. 

              The Freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze Win! 19-3. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaata Game for a Home Opener!  Even when Freeze players are not in the starting lineup, they come and cheer on the team!  The Freeze home hard courts are supposedly hitting a renovation for a brand new look so keep it locked here for more info on that!  The excitement is building for the courts and this pumped up Freeze squad!
