BCRC Slammers @ Frosty Hollow Freeze

It was the season finale of the 2021 USTA Season as the Freeze welcomed the Slammers to their courts on a scorching hot day. This game was a bid for first place in the Division and a playoff position. 

 

The parking lot was packed to almost capacity and there was a nice crowd on hand. The players warmed up in their white colored uniforms and were set for the whiteout.

The season finale was about to take place.

It was Dave Leno who put the Freeze on the board with 4 points. However, that turned out to be the only points the Freeze would muster as they fell at home to the Slammers by score of 17-4. The Slammers cheered all the way to the parking lot as they took the division crown and a playoff position. The Freeze now go scoreboard watching as they look to try to get a wild card position. 

 

The 2021 regular season is finished. The only thing the Freeze could do at this point is continue to prepare for a possible “Wild Card Play In Game” and wait for the other Division to finish their games.

 

The Freeze go back to the practice courts. The final standings should be in by next weekend. Keep it locked here for playoff and wild card info and scenarios.
