Frosty Hollow FREEZE @ Pennsbury Terminetters
The Frosty Hollow Freeze hit the road on Saturday and headed to Trenton Ave in Morrisville Pennsylvania to take on the Pennsbury Terminetters inside the dome. The weather outside was damp so it was good that this game was set indoors.
The Freeze starting lineup for this game had Zach McGowan and Shawn Gallagher on Singles. The Doubles pairs were stationed by, Bob Hawley and Eric Ulzinow, Ian Blackman and Bill Burger, and Dmitry Belov and Lance Shaffer.
The Freeze had a good crowd behind the glass for this must-win-game. Ian Blackman and Bill Burger got the Freeze off to a good start by putting 4 points on the board. Zach McGowan torched his opponent to add another 5 points. Bob Hawley and Eric Ulzinow had a long match on their court. There were even members of another team in the division that came to root against the Freeze. They were especially locked in on Hawley and Ulzinow's court. On points won by the Terminetters, the members of the other team in the division were seen dancing and mocking the Freeze players. Hawley and Ulzinow did not mind it and slammed in a big 6 points to squeeze the lid shut on the home cheering! There is alot of animosity between teams and this is what happens when things are tight in the standings. It seems like everyone hates the Freeze with every outsider rooting against them. Dmitry Belov and Lance Shaffer banged in 4 more points to secure things. The Freeze could not wait to get out of the stadium and they did it with a big time victory. The Freeze won 18-4.
There are many people that say it was irksome to watch players from another team in the division come to a game and do the salsa when you don't win a point. However, if you ask the Freeze Team, they would most likely tell you, we don't give a sh*t! We don't like you any way." It is something like this that might even add fuel to the fire and bulletin board material for the Freeze.
The Freeze have officially one game to go in the 2018 Regular Season. It is a must-win and the Freeze must try to earn as many points as possible to make the playoffs. It is going to come down to a possible 1 point between making the playoffs and not. The standings are tight.
With everyone rooting against the Freeze, it is up to the Freeze to prove to the division that they are not shy to stick up for themselves. One Swing, One Serve, One Volley, ONE TEAM!
THE 2018 SEASON ALL COMES DOWN TO ONE GAME! ALL THE EGGS ARE IN ONE BASKET. THE FREEZE NEED THEIR BEST GAME IN FRANCHISE HISTORY AND IT IS SIMPLY ONE OF THE BIGGEST GAMES IN MANY PLAYERS CAREERS!
Are the Freeze underdogs? Are they Hungry Dogs?! It's said that Hungry Dogs run faster. The Freeze have a bunch of driven people that want prove all the doubters wrong!
"There's no one outside this team that likes the Freeze" "There's no one that likes us? WE DON'T CARE".
"WE ALL WE GOT! WE ALL WE NEED"!
