Causing a Racket @ Frosty Hollow FREEZE

May 25th (Holiday Weekend Game)

It was Memorial Day Weekend on a gorgeous tennis day as the Frosty Hollow Freeze welcomed the team Causing a Racket to town.

​

After being defeated a week ago, the Freeze were looking for a bounce back game and their first win at home in the 2019 season.

 

The starters were written in pen and were positioned as;

 

#19 Ian Blackman and #23 Mike Herman for the Singles positions!  The Doubles positions were set as #11 Ashish Patel / #8 Eric Ulzinow, #42 Dmitry Belov / #26 Lance Shaffer, and  #44 Bill Burger / #59 John Sisti!​

 

The duo Jack Ham Burger; Sisti and Burger started the holiday fireworks at the hard courts in a three setter by scoring 3 points.  Belov and L.Shaffer pumped up the home crowd more in a two setter by scoring 4 points.  At this point, the FREEZE were smelling the BBQ on the grill.  Patel and Ulzinow struck for 5 points in a two setter to keep the sweep intact.  With the score 12-0, Blackman took over in a three setter and scored 5 points.  Herman closed the door with the broom to score another 4 points in a three setter.  21-0. The FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZE WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN! A holiday sweep! 

 

With some big time division rival games coming up, the Freeze now hit the practice courts to prepare! 

 

With the animosity between the teams in the division, these games coming up are going to be a hot ticket! The dislike between the teams are true, the standings are close, the rivalries are energized, so the FREEZE want to have their fans travel with them. Come out and cheer on this team! Wear FREEZE blue!   The road to the playoffs starts now!
