TopSpin Blue @ Frosty Hollow Freeze
In the longest game of the season, TopSpin Blue took a journey to the Frosty Hollow Freeze hard courts in the division rival extravaganza. This was the final home regular season game for the Freeze in the 2019 USTA season.
The Freeze lineup was set by #19 Ian Blackman and #23 Mike Herman for the Singles positions.
#26 Lance Shaffer and #42 Dmitry Belov, #8 Eric Ulzinow and #11 Ashish Patel for the Doubles positions.
Herman put the Freeze on the board with 4 points in a two setter. L.Shaffer and Belov added 5 more points to that in a three setter. Ulzinow and Patel chimed in with another 4 points in a three setter. Blackman played three sets and scored another 5 points. With the score now at 18-0 the Freeze were wanting the sweep. The third Doubles court has not yet been played yet, and the news being told at this moment is that the court could possibly be defaulted.
THIS GAME IS NOT FINISHED UNTIL THE THIRD DOUBLES COURT IS PLAYED! There is 3 points on the table! Is it going to be TopSpin Blue or the Frosty Hollow Freeze? The Freeze are excited and wanting to play!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Another complaint?
Was the same player thrown out of the game? Was he tossed? You had to be there at the courts or on the tennis conference call to know what was going on!
The tennis umpires and the office decision makers are in the process of making a ruling on the disqualification and the Third Doubles Court.
Stay tuned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
