Frosty Hollow Freeze @ TopSpin Blue

                              June 1st.

It was a Division Rival bash as the Frosty Hollow Freeze took the road to Bryn Athyn to take on TopSpin Blue.

Another highly anticipated game made for entertaining action.

​

With a good crowd on hand, the starting lineups were introduced.

Playing the Singles positions for the away team; #19 Ian Blackman and #23 Mike Herman! Playing the Doubles positions for the away team; #26 Lance Shaffer / #42 Dmitry Belov, #8 Eric Ulzinow / #11 Ashish Patel, and #33 Bob Hawley / #59 John Sisti!

It was a pleasant day for tennis as the starters took to the TopSpin courts.

Hawley and Sisti torched the court with bagels to put the Freeze up 3-0.  Herman added to that with 4 more points to silence to home crowd.  Ulzinow and Patel lit up on their court by adding another 4 points. Blackman swung thru his opponent to add another 5 points.  When all things were finished on this day, the final score was 16-5.

The Freeze walked into opposing territory and walked out with a win.  They now go back to the practice courts and prepare some more, as the standings stay incredibly close. With big time division games coming on the schedule, the bitterness is there between teams. Every point matters for the Freeze to stamp the playoff ticket. The journey to the playoffs continues.
