Pennsbury Ball Busters at Frosty Hollow Freeze: May 27th

It was Friday night at the Frosty Hollow Stadium Courts as the Frosty Hollow Freeze welcomed the Pennsbury Ball Busters to town on a humid night.  The Freeze were in their gray uniforms on a hot evening and a beautiful tennis setting.  The players were incredibly pumped up in warm ups and in the pre-game meetings for strategy and game talk.  With a good crowd on hand, the Freeze did not disappoint and succeeded under the bright lights at the home stadium.  The Freeze finally got the monkey off their shoulders by knocking out the Ball Busters for their first win of the 2016 season.  The Freeze swung heavy and played like they were mobsters hunting down the Pennsbury Ball Busters without wanting to get pinched.  It was as if the Freeze were dialing up a mock execution.

The lineup submitted on this evening affair was set by Ian Blackman and Carlos Araujo for Singles.  The Doubles positions included Dave Kniaz and Ashish Patel, Bob Hawley and Eric Ulzinow, and Lance Shaffer and Mark Shaffer.  The Freeze had much success on this hot night.  They were all made men after this and the feds were driving around the parking lot.

Ian Blackman and Carlos Araujo went to work on their Singles courts.  Before the match,  Araujo asked some of the players, "What did the lawyer say to the racket?"  Araujo stopped, took a step, turned, and said, "I'll see you in court."  When Araujo got done his match, he amusingly commented, "I got my ten dollars worth."  On the other Singles Court, Ian whacked his opponent for a court win.  When talking to the media, Ian said, "The guy asked me if I want a sip of beer and I said I never had a sip of beer in my life."  The gray uniforms were dripping with sweat after these courts were finished.

Bob Hawley and Eric Ulzinow won their Doubles court where prominent serves and volleys were made loudly.  They played as if their opponents ratted them out to the authorities.  Both Hawley and Ulzinow took it to their opponents in a way that made them a wanted crew in the mafia.  When talking to the media about his racket choice, Hawley said, "I'm in a racket war."  He then went on to say, "glad we finally won one."  Ulzinow amusingly commented, "whatever he just said."  Hawley and Ulzinow tuned up and shook down their opponents for a superior victory.

On another Doubles court, Lance Shaffer and Mark Shaffer won their court with dominant action at the net.  They administered deep shots and got to the net all night where they won many points.  They had a job and they finished it off.  When talking to the media, Lance Shaffer stated, "I'm gonna go have a cheesesteak with no cheese.  Bread and steak."  When talking about the match, Mark Shaffer said, "We kept our foot on the gas and played a good game."  There was a ton of speed at these stadium courts.

You then have Doubles pair, Dave Kniaz and Ashish Patel who were laying low before the start of the game.  The game balls were jokingly sent to the joint, to the pen, up the river, to the prison, and then to the big house.  This match court has yet to be finished but there is going to be a court update when Dave and Ashish do so.  Are the Ball Busters being wiseguys?

By the end of this Friday night, the Pennsbury Ball Busters were swimming with the fishes.  The Freeze were packing heat and defended their territory.  The Freeze now have a win under their belt in the 2016 season!  The home crowd was piercing with enthusiasm all night which gave the players the push they needed and the Freeze players all cheered each other on and stuck up for one another!
